Lindsey Ziemke 

Residency Program Specialist

Lindsey Ziemke joined the Medical Education program team in September of 2016. Lindsey was born in raised in Norwalk, Ohio. Being only a short drive away from Cedar Point and Lake Erie, that is where she spent a lot of her time growing up. Lindsey graduated from the University of Toledo in May 2016 with a degree in Health Care Administration. Go Rockets! Lindsey’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys spending time on her parent’s boat in the summer, OSU football, shopping, and trying new restaurants. Lindsey loves being a part of the Grant family.

Whitley Hawkins

Residency Program Specialist

Whitley Hawkins joined the Medical Education Program team in March of 2017. Whitley was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where she grew to love the Buckeyes. Therefore, she attended The Ohio State University and graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has experience in working in the communications field in various places including Ohio State’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion and United Way of Central Ohio. She is excited to be apart of such a great company that advocates not just the importance of health, but involvement in the community.

Jodi Carlson   

Residency Program Specialist

Jodi Carlson joined the Medical Education program team in July of 2016. As a Columbus native; her furthest relocation was to Pickerington where she now resides with her husband and high school sweetheart, Scott. Jodi graduated from Western Governors University as a non-traditional student earning a B.S. in Business Administration: Information Technology Management. A true problem solver at heart, she enjoys DIY/rehab projects, reading, training PC users, dog training, and converting traditional recipes to gluten-free [it’s not a fad, its Celiac]. Jodi and Scott have two awesome adult daughters; Shelbi a nurse here at Grant and Kelsi who will complete her D.V.M. in May of 2017. They also consider their German Shephard, Foose, Golden grand-dog. Noah, and grand-Quarter Horse, Digger a part of their close knit family. Jodi believes it’s all about family and is excited to finally be a part of the Grant/OhioHealth family here in Columbus.

Susan Baum

Administrative Assistant

Susan joined Medical Education in November of 2013.  She considers herself a local girl, moving here with her family in 1975 and returning in 1983 after graduating from Ohio University.  She has held a wide variety of positions in her professional career including bank teller, Domino’s Pizza manager (both here and in Canada), bookkeeper for a property management firm, Supervisor for Meals on Wheels and office manager of a private primary care office.  She and her husband enjoy traveling by car and take several trips to Annapolis Maryland (her “ancestral home”) every year to watch the Midshipmen’s home football games.  In her down time she greatly enjoys reading, knitting, crochet and sewing.  What does she love about Grant?  The people, of course!!
